Hammond/Kehler/Ingrim Audio

Salmon Arm Silverbacks forward Mike Hammond has a point in each of his three games with his new team. Overall the 1990 born center is on a 13 game point streak good for 20 points overall. The Victoria resident is in his fourth season in the BCHL and started with two in his hometown with the Grizzlies starting the last two seasons with the Cowichan Valley Capitals. Unfortunately for the 5'10" 170 pounder he was unable to play in the Royal Bank Cup when Victoria hosted in 2009 due to injury.

Hammond discusses being shocked at being traded, great fans in Duncan, adjusting to new linemates, the importance of the scoring race, and playing one game in the WHL.

Salmon Arm Silverbacks' General Manager & Head Coach Tim Kehler discusses competing well in a 6-3 loss, big mistakes leading to grade "A" chances against, Dave Killip's consistency, Jayson Reardon's improved offensive numbers, and his personal feelings towards the Smoke Eaters' coaching staff.

Trail Smoke Eaters' General Manager & Head Coach Jim Ingram discusses struggling in the faceoff circle, where Powell River ranks compared to the Interior Conference, getting healthy, evaluating his team without their best players, Nic DeSousa's addition to the team, and Paul Mailey being rewarded offensively.
