Vasaturo/Kehler/Smyl Audio

Salmon Arm Silverbacks defenceman Charlie Vasaturo is playing some of his best hockey of the season. Recently paired with fellow 1990 born rearguard Jayson Reardon the two mesh well together. The Sewell, New Jersey resident leads the team in penalty minutes with 53.

The 6'2" 200 pounder discusses the team not worried about a 3-5-2 last ten games, his chemistry with Reardon, and the return of Jersey Shore.

Salmon Arm Silverbacks General Manager & Head Coach Tim Kehler discusses improved defensive play, an unexpected suspension, icing his most skilled lineup for the first time, and how busy his phone has been.

Langley Chiefs General Manager & Head Coach Harvey Smyl is in his 18th season with the organization. Every season his troops have made the playoffs including three league championships and two Royal Bank Cup appearances. The 48-year-old has also won four coach of the year awards and was a former player in the AJHL before playing at Michigan State University.

Smyl discusses his team's 3-0 record since Christmas, struggles after a great start to the season, his offensive players playing defense, and how busy he expects to be before January 10th.
