Coquitlam Express' Head Coach & Director of Hockey Operations Jon Calvano is in his first season with the organization after three years as the head coach of the BC Major Midget League's Vancouver Northwest Giants. In his three seasons the Giants finished first each year with a combined record of 98-13-9. This season the Express started off well with a 8-4-0-1 record but then faltered going 2-10-1-5.
