Salmon Arm Silverbacks defenceman Justin Elliott was acquired from the Coquitlam Express along with Paul de Jersey for Michael Krgovich. The 1992 born rearguard recorded his first point of the season on November 19th in a 2-1 loss to the Penticton Vees. In his first season in the BCHL the North Vancouver resident played in 19 games with the Express and has now appeared in six with the 'Backs.
Last season the 6'2" 200 pounder played for the Grandview Steelers in the PIJHL where he had nine goals and 19 points in 47 games with only 12 penalty minutes. In 2008/2009 Elliott was a member of the Vancouver Northwest Giants in the BCMML where he posted a goal and seven assists in 40 contests.
