Night 57
In Quesnel the Salmon Arm Silverbacks (19-9) started great and held on late to defeat the Millionaires (6-20-1-2) 5-4. Led by captain Dave Killip Salmon Arm jumped out to a 3-0 first period lead with the 1991 born Kelowna resident chipping in a goal and two assists. Early in the second frame the 'Backs added to their lead when 21 assist man Clinton Atkinson scored his first goal of the season to go along with all those helpers and some "sick" sideburns. Down 5-1 with five minutes left the Mills scored twice in 20 seconds and once more with a minute remaining to put a scare into their opposition. Kris Moore recorded the victory and made his return to the net after missing 16 games.
