Mills efforts weren’t enough to keep their sixth place spot in the B.C. Hockey League Interior Conference lineup. They slipped below their northern rivals Prince George Spruce Kings.
Against Vernon Bohmer said their defence made the difference.
“We had a stronger D and they made the puck crisper. When defence comes out of the zone and gets the puck to our guys – when the D does their job – it’s easier for us,” Bohmer said.
