“We are working hard and playing well, but the lapses are killing us,” explains interim assistant coach Gilles Leberre, who is filling in for Coach Al Glendinning while he is away coaching the Canada West team at the World Junior A Challenge. “We have a mental lapse and the other team is capitalizing on it.”
Overtime continues to be a struggle for the Centennials this year, as they have pushed the game to OT five times but have failed to steal a win. The coaching staff says this is a problem but they aren’t ready to throw in the towel just yet.
