Brodie Zuk took it upon himself on Sunday to make sure a two-game Nanaimo Clippers' losing streak didn't reach three as he collected five points, including three goals, as the Clippers defeated the Burnaby Express 5-2 in B.C. Hockey League action at the Bill Copeland Arena in Burnaby.
In Nanaimo's seven-game streak of road games, they won an impressive five times, something head coach/GM Bill Bestwick was pleased to see.
"We'll take that in any seven-game stretch, espeacially with all of them on the road," said Bestwick. "Playing three games on a weekend on back-to-back weekends, that's a lot to ask."
