Though happy with his team’s resilient road effort on Saturday, Eagles coach Shane Kuss was still focused on the one that got away.
“You’re never happy with a .500 record – we kind of blew that first one,” he said.
After Bodie’s winning marker – which Kuss described as “a bit of a flukey goal that probably shouldn’t have went in,” – the Kings added an empty-netter to thwart any attempt at an Eagles comeback.
