Pighin shoots to the top of BCHL scoring

Asked about his ability to get open on the rinks’ most congested area, Pighin said it’s about being both invisible and physical.

“You try to find a quiet spot but sometimes you have make separation for yourself with a hit or a push,” he said, “then it’s just about getting to the puck first.”

“It was really just a case of following my heart,” said Pighin whose WHL rights were traded from the Rebels to the Prince George Cougars following last season. “Garry and Ty (Davidson) had treated me well and taught me a lot. I had really enjoyed playing here.”
