“We really wanted to make up for what we felt was a poor performance in our first trip to Salmon Arm (on Sept. 14),” said Vees head coach Fred Harbinson. “We‘d gained a lot of confidence after the (4-0) win over Westside on Friday and we followed it up with another strong 60-minute effort.”
Defenceman Nigel Dube, who took a puck in the face early in the Salmon Arm game and did not return, has also been cleared to play tonight. Forward Luke Challier (shoulder) is still a few weeks away from playing.
Fred Harbinson said he‘s satisfied with the make-up of the defence, and would like to add two more forwards before the Jan. 10 roster deadline...
