“Our powerplay was good and our penalty killing did a heck of a job also, so I was happy with both aspects,” Dempsey said. “As far as the penalty kill, obviously to have a good penalty kill your best penalty killer has got to be your goalie. From a coach’s perspective you can always gage how hard your team is working by how well they do on the penalty kill.”
Fraser, who was acquired from the Alberta Junior Hockey League’s Spruce Grove Saints in a trade for defenceman Jordan Foreman on Oct. 11, also scored two goals and added an assist on Sunday. In his first nine games with Prince George, Fraser had eight goals and six assists for 14 points.
