Salmon Arm 0 @ Vernon Vipers 3 - (Exhibition)
Struggling to find offence the Salmon Arm Silverbacks were shutout 3-0 by the Vernon Vipers at Wesbild Centre in Vernon, British Columbia. The Apes finished 0-7 on the power play while managing only 18 shots on goal in total. After a first period power play goal Vernon carried a 1-0 lead until halfway through the third period when they put the game away with goals two and a half minutes apart. The first half of the game was highlighted by a parade to the penalty box with 22 of the first 33 minutes spent with one team on the man advantage. Despite the lack of firepower the 'Backs did supply several boisterous body checks.
