Salmon Arm 3 vs. Vernon 4 (Exhibition)

Despite a furious third period the Salmon Arm Silverbacks (1-3) fell 4-3 to the Vernon Vipers (4-0) at the Sunwave Centre in Salmon Arm, British Columbia. After a back and forth first period the Vipers carried the momentum from a late first period goal to three tallies in the second frame and a 4-1 lead. Salmon Arm responded in the final stanza though getting to within one goal in the first five minutes but were denied the tying marker through the rest of the third period.
