In Quesnel at the Twin Arenas Kirby Halcrow made 28 saves as the Millionaires defeated the Penticton Vees 2-0. Tied 0-0 the Mills scored halfway through the third period to take the lead and added an empty netter late. In a game with only three penalties called the Vees netminder Joel Rumpel took the loss giving up one goal with 33 saves.
In Prince George at the Coliseum the Vernon Vipers scored 31 seconds into the game and carried that momentum throughout to defeat the Spruce Kings 6-0. Blake Voth made 16 saves for the shuout while Trevor Fitzgerald scored twice.
In Nanaimo at Frank Crane Arena the Trail Smoke Eaters recieved 43 saves from Matt Larose to defeat the Clippers 5-3. The top line was also red hot for the Smokies with two goals on the power play and five point games from both Sam Mellor and Travis St. Denis.
In Port Alberni at Weyerhaeuser Arena the Alberni Valley Bulldogs and Westside Warriors skated to a 3-3 tie thanks to 43 saves from the Bulldogs Frank Slubowski. Combining for five goals in the second period with both teams holding the lead the two teams played the final 30 minutes scoreless.
In Victoria at Bear Mountain Arena the Langley Chiefs led on three seperate occassions to defeat the Grizzlies 3-2. Responding twice to the Grizzlies tying the game up Langley took the lead for good halfway through the third period two minutes after a Victoria man advantage goal with a power play marker of thier own.
In Surrey at the South Arena the Eagles scored the last four goals of the game to defeat the Coquitlam Express 7-3. Trailing 3-1 the Express tied the game late in the second period on the power play only to have the Eagles respond short handed a minute and a half later and add three more tallies in the third to close out the scoring.
