Cody Michelle is in his rookie season with the Salmon Arm Silverbacks after two years with the Prince Albert Mintos. Last season as the Captain he collected 19 goals and 49 points in 43 games. In his first campaign with the Mintos the Prince Albert, Saskatchewan resident finished with 13 goals and 38 points in 43 games.

Trail Smoke Eaters General Manager and Head Coach Jim Ingram is in his fourth season with the Smokies. In his three seasons Trail has finished with similar records of 23-30-1-6, 25-31-2-2, and 20-32-1-7.
