Salmon Arm Silverbacks' second year forward Devin Gannon is off to a terrific to the season. The Kamloops resident leads the Apes in points through seven games with four goals and five assists while also being named an Assistant Captain. Last season the 1991 born centre played in 58 games and collected eight goals and 13 assists along with 76 penalty minutes.
Prior to joining the Silverbacks the 6'0" 170 pounder spend two season with the Kamloops Storm in the KIJHL where he played 47 games in his second year with 20 goals and 27 assists along with 134 penalty minutes. In his first year Gannon played in 44 games and had eight goals and assists with 54 minutes in penalties.
Penticton Vees' General Manager and Head Coach Fred Harbinson begins his fourth season and is coming off a franchise record year where the Vees finished with a 48-8-0-4 record good for 100 points. After winning the BCHL Championship in his first year at the helm Penticton has lost in the Conference Semi-Finals and Finals in the last two seasons.
