Night 6

In Penticton at the South Okanagan Events Centre the Prince George Spruce Kings (0-2-0-2) earned a point by erasing a two-goal deficit but dropped a 3-2 double-overtime decision to the Vees (3-2-0-0). Down 2-0 seven minutes into the game the Spruce Kings made a goalie change and scored late in the first period along with halfway through the third to force extra time.

In Vernon at Wesbild Centre the Merritt Centennials (1-4-0-0) won their first game of the season with a 5-4 double-overtime victory over the Vipers (2-2-0-1). Merritt erased two one-goal deficits in the game thanks in large part to finishing three-for-four on the powerplay. Vernon also trailed twice in the game and scored with 32 seconds left to gain a point.
