Salmon Arm Silverbacks defenceman Clinton Atkinson has caught fire with a four game point streak good for six points in total after not registering a point in his first five games. The 1991 born rearguard returns to Salmon Arm for a second season after two years with the Moose Jaw Warriors of the Western Hockey League. In limited playing time the New Westminister resident appeared in 88 games with two goals and 18 points along with 110 penalty minutes. Back in his 16-year-old season with the 'Backs Clinton played in 50 games and had two goals and seven points with 43 PIMs. Prior to joining the Apes Atkinson played Major Midget with the Northwest Giants where he scored an astonishing 15 goals along with 28 points and 52 PIMs in 38 games.
