1. Surrey Eagles forward Bradley McGowan had three goals and six assists in three wins last week. The 1990 born centre has at least a point and usually at least two in every Surrey game this season for an 18 game point streak. Recently committing to the Rochester Institute of Technology the Langley resident leads the league in points with 40 including 18 goals. Last season the 6'0" 175 pounder had 12 goals and 46 points in his 58 game regular season.
Bradley came up through the system with the Junior "B" Richmond Sockeyes in the PIJHL where in 2008/2009 he posted 36 goals and 91 points in 48 games and won the Keystone Cup Championship. During 2007/2008 he had 15 goals and 38 points in 45 contests. As a 145 pounder in the BC Major Midget League with the Valley West Hawks McGowan tallied eight goals and 13 points in 32 games during the 2006/2007 campaign.
2. Vernon Vipers goaltender Blake Voth made two starts and collected two wins last week including a 5-0 shutout over Penticton and an 8-1 victory over Quesnel. In total the 1991 born netminder posted a 0.50 goals against average and a .978 save percentage. Overall the Herbert, Saskatchewan resident had the league's third best GAA at 2.02 and ninth best save % at .907.
Last season in a backup role the 5'10" 170 pounder set a new league record for GAA with 1.79 and also had the best save % at .929. Prior to Vernon Blake played for the Tisdale Trojans of the Saskatchewan Midget AAA league for two seasons where he posted GAA's of 2.57 and 2.41 with save %'s of .912 and .915.
3. Powell River Kings forward Andrew Pettitt had three goals and eight points in four games last week. The 1990 born winger snapped out of a three game pointless streak and now had nine goals and 17 points in 18 games this season. The Alaska-Anchorage commit is in his third year with the Kings and last season finished with 36 goals for the sixth most in the league. Overall the Whitehorse, Yukon resident had 61 points in 58 games whereas in 2008/2009 he had ten goals and 19 points in 49 contests.
