In Langley the Chiefs (12-2-0-2) improved to 3-0 on the season over the Coquitlam Express (8-5-0-3) with a 4-3 overtime victory. In a back and forth game Coquitlam led 1-0 after 20 minutes, Langley led 2-1 after 40, and with the game tied at two in the third the Chiefs scored with three minutes left to take another lead. The Express quickly responded 33 seconds later to earn a point. 1990 born Colorado resident Josh Myers scored the overtime winner and led the way with a three point game.
In Victoria the Grizzlies (9-4-0-1) collected their sixth straight victory with a 4-1 win over the Cowichan Valley Capitals (5-11). The Grizz jumped out to an early 3-0 first period lead and switched off goals in the middle frame to complete the scoring. Once again Victoria was led by 1991 born Cornell commit and Calgary resident Joel Lowry with three assists while 1990 born Richmond Hills, Ontario resident David Morley had three points as well with a goal and two helpers.
