Night 26

In Victoria the Grizzlies (8-4-0-1) won their fifth straight game by defeating the Salmon Arm Silverbacks (10-6) 5-0. Victoria's top line was unstoppable during the game with Joel Lowry scoring once and adding four assists, David Morley assisting on three, and Pierce Eviston scoring twice for three points in total. Collecting 31 shots the Silverbacks could not beat Matt Ginn who recorded his first shutout of the season. For Salmon Arm it extended their losing streak to four games during which the team has scored only three goals after averaging over four goals per game in their first 12 games of the season.

In Nanaimo the Clippers (4-5-1-2) snapped the Langley Chiefs (11-2-0-2) eight game winning streak with an 11-5 victory. Trailing 2-1 late in the first period Nanaimo scored the next nine goals of the game including five on the power play and two shorthanded. In total the Clippers finished an absurd six-for-nine on the man advantage. Andrew Gladiuk finished the contest with four goals and six points while Ryan Stanimir had five assists and a goal for six points as well.
