In Victoria at Bear Mountain Arena the Grizzlies (5-4-0-1) had two first period goals standup in defeating the Prince George Spruce Kings (2-11-0-2) 3-1. Scoring twice in the first eight minutes and then giving up a goal two minutes later the Grizzlies held a 2-1 lead for 50 minutes until icing the contest with an empty netter. 1991 born Cornell committ Joel Lowry led the way with a goal and three points.
In Coquitlam at the Sports Centre the Express (7-4-0-1) scored three goals in the first period, four in the second, and two in the third to defeat the Cowichan Valley Capitals (4-9) 9-2. 1991 born Ontario resident Massimo Lamacchia led the way in the beat down with a hattrick of goals and assists for six points.
