Salmon Arm Silverbacks forward Brett Knowles is off to a great start to his second full season with the team registering three goals and seven points in his first seven games. Last season the Vanderhoof resident battled mono and played in 41 games with six goals and 16 points along with 58 penalty minutes. Prior to joining the 'Backs the 1991 born Knowles played with the Junior "B" Summerland Sting of the Kootenay Internation Junior Hockey League where he put up 25 goals and 42 points along with 113 PIMs in 46 games.
