Week Five's Three Stars

1. Coquitlam Express forward Massimo Lamacchia had three goals and seven assists in three games with his team winning two of the contests. On the season the 1991 born Ontario resident has seven goals and 17 points in 12 games. The 5'8" 160 pounder was acquired in August after two full seasons in the Ontario Junior Hockey League where he had 30 goals and 69 points in 85 games.

2. Penticton Vees defenceman Joey Laleggia had two goals and five points in his team's two victories over the Trail Smoke Eaters. On the season the 1992 born Burnaby resident has four goals and 18 points in 13 games. Last year the 5'9" 180 pounder led all British Columbia Hockey League rearguards in points with 65 including 13 goals in his 54 games. Prior to Penticton Laleggia played two seasons for the Northwest Giants of the B.C. Major Midget League where he tallied 22 goals and 95 points in 80 games. Recently Joey decommitted from the University of New Hampshire and has now committed to Denver University for next season.

3. Powell River Kings forward Chad Niddery had six assists in his team's two victories. On the season the 1990 born Penticton resident has five goals and 20 points in 12 games. Now in his fourth campaign the 5'10" 165 pounder had 16 goals and 66 points in 56 games last season. In 2008/2009 he had 20 goals and 50 points in 60 games while in 2007/2008 he picked up six goals and 18 points in 40 contests. Prior to Powell River Niddery played a season for Grand Forks in the Kootenay International Junior "B" Hockey League where he had 17 goals and 35 points in 46 games.
