Krabben/Kehler/Olson/Puddifant Audio

Salmon Arm Silverbacks defenceman Justin Krabben is in his second season with the team and is coming off a career game on Saturday in Merritt where he scored the game tying goal along with adding two assists. In total the 1991 born Rocky Mountain House, Alberta resident has a goal and seven points in 13 games after a goal and five points in 52 games last season. The 6'4" 175 played his midget hockey with the Red Deer Optimist Rebels where in his second season he potted ten goals along with 21 points in 33 contests after one goal and ten points in his first campaign.

Nanaimo Clippers Assistant Coach Michael Olson is in his first season behind the bench after playing for the team from 2003 to 2005. Olson was a member of the Nanaimo team that defeated the Silverbacks in the Fred Page Cup in 2004. After his junior career he spent four years at St. Cloud State University before concluding his playing career last year with the Idaho Steelheads of the East Coast Hockey League.

Nanaimo Clippers defenceman Mike Puddifant is starting his first full season with the team after starting last year with the Salmon Arm Silverbacks. So far this season the 1991 born Tappen resident has two goals and five points in ten games. Last year the 5'10" 185 pounder appeared in 28 games with his hometown team registering one goal and three points before being traded to the Burnaby Express for Matt Ridley. One week later after appearing in two games with no points he was traded to the Clippers for future considerations where he played in eight games and had two assists. In his first season in the B.C.H.L. Mike appeared in 50 games for Salmon Arm and had one goal and eight points.

Prior to Junior "A" Mike played for the Chase Chiefs of the Kootenay International Junior "B" Hockey League where he had five goals and 21 points in 48 games along with 208 penalty minutes. He was also a member of the Thompson Blazers in the B.C. Major Midget where in 2006/2007 he had three goals and seven points along with 148 PIMs in 38 games.
