In Penticton at the South Okanagan Events Centre the Vees (6-4-0-0) recieved 28 saves from Billy Faust to shutout the Merritt Centennials (1-7-0-0) 3-0. The game remained scoreless until late in the second period when Penticton tallied twice in four minutes to go along with an empty netter in the third.

In Port Alberni at Weyerhaeuser Arena the Bulldogs (4-1-1-0) rode 33 saves from Frank Slubowski to defeat the Powell River Kings (5-3-0-0) 3-1. The Bulldogs broke a 1-0 game open with goals 20 seconds apart early in the second period.
